This extreme brew is a joint venture between Rogue Ales and Voodoo Doughnut, the crazy bakery that brought you the Maple Bacon Doughnut. In 13 listed ingredients you will find three different varieties of wood smoked grain, applewood smoked bacon, and pure maple syrup.

Holy crap this thing is intense, the smell is an intense smoky bacon with a note of sweetness. Taking a sip of it you get all that malty mapley goodness with an edge of salt and bacon fat. The rich flavor is barely in the range of what one would call beer - definitely not for the faint of heart. If you’re ever presented with an opportunity to try this insane science experiment, go for it.
